Increasing climatic anomalies in conjunction with the energy crisis which seems to be increasingly determined the pace of development of the world. The coming years and decades will be for these reasons were the most difficult periods in our history. Given these risks is necessary to introduce a new quality to the electricity networks - commonly called SMART GRIDS.

SMART GRID enables two-way exchange of information and power as we seek to share knowledge and information, because it is undisputed that requires solutions in modern technology.

To achieve this, cooperation is necessary with research centers, businesses and innovative companies, as a result, this led us to establish the Cluster Green Cars. Green Cars Initiative, a cluster of companies, organizations and individuals who attempt to oppose this dangerous global trends, climate change and dwindling natural resources. The most important task we consider, as soon as possible to become independent of our civilization on oil.

The aim of the Initiative Green Cars is a smooth completion of the epoch dependence on oil.
The Green Cars Initiative stages we strongly change the energy awareness and education communities in order to shift our technical civilization on energy-efficient electric appliances and means of transport and distributed energy generation from renewable sources, energy independence, forming the base of local communities.

Cluster participants are convinced that part of the initialization process in Poland's energy independence is to create a market for electric vehicles, along with the parallel development of smart grid renewable energy sources. Electricity is no longer able to eliminate the oil for the benefit of users, the environment and future generations. Technologies are now available and we will deal with their promotion and acquiring and implementing innovative solutions.
Green Cars cluster was initiated by companies and individuals, dealing with technologies for electric vehicles and renewable energy. The program's activities was included in the "Cluster Development Strategy."
To accomplish a large project joined several notable actors such as Electrotechnical Institute in Warsaw and the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers.
Due to the purpose and nature of the project, its implementation involved persons, companies and organizations from other sectors, and the Green Cars' has become a nationwide movement, which is the business platform for companies, organizations and individuals.

We have to quit the era of oil, because :

1.    Oil combustion increases a risk of a climate catastrophe.
2.    It is common in unfriendly or unstable countries.
3.    The oil resources will finally vanish – at least in 40 years.
4.    Before they vanish, they will be more expensive.
5.    Car exhaust fumes are harmful for the health.
6.    Internal combustion engines are  energy – inefficient and too noisy.
7.    Nowadays, there is 1,3 billion cars in the whole world, and in 2030 there is going to be 1.8 billion cars, which could not be borne by neither people nor the Earth.

An electrical powertrain will replace the internal combustion powertrain, thus :

1.    In polish reality, it guarantees an energetic independence.
2.    It significantly reduces or totally eliminates CO2 release.
3.    ‘Electricity’ has the most developed infrastructure.
4.    An electrical engine is much more energetically efficient than an internal combustion engine.
5.    It is much cheaper.
6.    It eliminates the exhaust fumes and noise from the cities.
7.    Amounts of billions zlotys being spent on the oil will remain within the country.
8.    Technology is already available.

Many various renewable sources of energy can be used for the production of the electrical energy protecting local energy independence.
